Enrollment and Operations Coordinator
Brandi Greenwood plays a key role in creating a seamless experience for students and families from their first inquiry through each stage of their dance journey. She oversees enrollment processes, supports daily studio operations, and works closely with families to ensure they feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the studio community.

NA & NBPT's Administrative Coordinator
Marybeth O’Keefe has been a valued member of NCDS since 2020 and serves as Administrative Coordinator for the Newburyport and North Andover locations. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from Assumption College and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UMass Boston. In addition to her role at NCDS, Marybeth is an experienced preschool teacher whose background in education helps her support dancers and families with organization, care, and dedication.

Emily Gorski began her dance training at the age of six and has maintained a lifelong passion for the art. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State University and brings over 14 years of teaching experience to NCDS. Emily is dedicated to helping young dancers build confidence, creativity, and a love for learning.

Nancy Chippendale
Founder/Owner

Starting her studio in 1979, she turned it into one of the most respected dance programs around. With decades of experience, global recognition, and a passion for teaching, Nancy continues to inspire dancers of all ages to shine, grow, and chase their dreams.

Bob Carberry
President
Bob has been an important part of Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios since 1979, serving as President and helping support the studio’s growth behind the scenes for decades. Known for his leadership, problem-solving skills, and dedication, he plays a vital role in keeping studio operations, productions, and events running smoothly.
A former U.S. Army engineer with a passion for music and creativity, Bob brings heart, reliability, and a strong sense of community to the studio. Whether managing productions or supporting the CHIPPS family behind the scenes, his commitment and positive spirit continue to help shape the welcoming environment dancers and families know and love.

Karen Carberry
Executive Director
Karen Carberry is a World Champion tap dancer, choreographer, and certified dance educator with extensive experience in performance, choreography, and instruction. A graduate of Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios and Boston College, she has trained professionally in Hollywood and performed alongside major entertainment stars in television, film, and live productions.
Known for her award-winning choreography and leadership, Karen has trained numerous National and International Champions through Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios and the American Tap Company. She currently serves as Executive Director and leads the Pre-Professional Program, NextStep.

Kelli Carberry
Executive Director
Kelli Carberry is a three-time World Tap Dance Champion, internationally recognized choreographer, certified IDO judge, and founder of the American Tap Company. She has traveled worldwide teaching, performing, and judging at major dance competitions and festivals alongside some of the industry’s most respected artists.
Her choreography credits include the 2017 Presidential Inauguration, Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, and All State Sugar Bowl Parade, along with film projects such as Bride Wars, The Town, Ted, and Here Comes the Boom. Kelli also founded Babysteps Early Childhood Movement Center and continues to inspire dancers through her leadership and teaching at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios.

Krissy Carberry
Executive Director
Krissy is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and educator known for her award-winning tap dance performances and competitive choreography. A World Champion tap dancer, she has earned multiple medals at the IDO World Dance Championships in Germany and has been recognized internationally for her work.
She teaches full-time at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios and has guest taught at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center in New York City. Krissy’s choreography for the Nancy Chippendale Competition Team and the American Tap Company has earned numerous national and international awards, and she also co-choreographed a piece for the United States Presidential Inauguration.

Stacy Becker
Teacher
Stacy is a longtime dancer and educator whose performance experience has taken her to venues across the United States, including New York City and Walt Disney World. As a member of the Nancy Chippendale Dance Company, she performed at Epcot’s America Gardens Theatre and was crowned a National Champion at American Dance Awards in 1999.
A dedicated teacher at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios, Stacy is passionate about introducing young dancers to the art of dance while helping them build confidence, technique, and a love for performing.

Diane Bruno
Teacher
An accomplished dancer, choreographer, and educator, Diane has performed nationwide with the Nancy Chippendale Dance Company, including appearances at Disney World, Atlantic City, and Virginia Beach. She also represented the United States Tap Team at the World Championships in Germany, earning both Gold and Bronze medals.
Since joining the full-time faculty at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios in 2004, Diane has become a valued member of the competition team choreography staff, bringing her passion, experience, and continued professional training into the classroom.

Ellissa Miguel
Windham Location Director
Elissa is the Director of Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios – Windham and a longtime member of the CHIPPS community. She began dancing at age four, competed nationally, and performed at Disney’s Magic Kingdom with the Nancy Chippendale Dance Company.
A graduate of Nancy Chippendale’s Class of 2000, Elissa continued her training through Hofstra University’s DanceWorks program before joining the faculty and choreography staff. She has spent over a decade teaching and choreographing for the nationally recognized competition team.

Donna Coco
Teacher
Donna is an experienced dance educator and choreographer with nearly four decades of teaching experience throughout New England. She has trained dancers who have gone on to perform with professional dance companies, cruise lines, Disney World, commercials, and collegiate dance programs.
A choreographer and former founder/director of Eastern Dance Awards, Donna’s work has earned regional and national recognition. Her teaching combines strong technical training with anatomical knowledge from her background in Physical Therapy, helping dancers build technique, confidence, and a lifelong love for dance.

Alyssa Ritter
Teacher
A former NFL cheerleader and accomplished dancer who trained at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios from a young age. Her professional dance career included performing with both the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins cheerleading squads, where she earned “Rookie of the Year” honors and was a member of the 2001 Patriots Super Bowl Championship Team.
Since joining the Newburyport faculty in 2019, Alyssa has brought her performance experience, leadership, and passion for teaching to the studio community. Promoted to Assistant Director in 2022, she is dedicated to inspiring young dancers while helping create a positive and encouraging environment for students to grow both on and off the dance floor.

Michelle Hulburt

A dedicated member of the Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios front desk team, known for her warm personality, creativity, and strong support for dancers and families. With years of connection to the studio community, she helps create a welcoming and organized environment that keeps daily operations running smoothly.
Michelle’s caring nature, reliability, and behind-the-scenes dedication make her an important part of the studio experience. Whether assisting families, supporting staff, or celebrating student achievements, she brings positivity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for the CHIPPS community.

Gianna Faragi

A passionate and uplifting dance educator with a strong foundation in tap and a love for helping students grow both in and out of the classroom. Janaya also serves as an Assistant Coach for Team USA with the American Dance Company (ADC) and completed the prestigious CLI Conservatory, training with renowned choreographers who have worked with artists including Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Janet Jackson, and Lady Gaga. She is passionate about helping students build strong technique, confidence, and a lifelong love of dance.

Oleksandr Ostanin

A passionate and dedicated dance educator with a strong love for tap and sharing the joy of dance through teaching. With a calm, positive, and encouraging presence, he inspires students to work hard, continue growing, and build confidence while enjoying every step of their dance journey.
Bringing both experience and a broad perspective into the studio, he creates an upbeat environment focused on discipline, creativity, and personal growth. His teaching style encourages dancers to not only improve technically, but also develop happiness, passion, and a genuine appreciation for the art of dance.

Danielle Diener

Kim Fauré

A creative and versatile dance educator who brings energy, curiosity, and passion into every class she teaches. With a strong love for musical theater and ballet, she combines performance quality with technical training to create a fun, engaging, and encouraging environment where students feel inspired to learn and grow.
Known for her dynamic personality and artistic spirit, Kim motivates dancers to explore their creativity, build confidence, and embrace new challenges. Her supportive teaching style, paired with her passion for the performing arts, helps students stay energized, expressive, and excited throughout their dance journey.

Erin Kuzminski

A confident and energetic dance educator with a strong passion for tap and creating a fun, positive classroom environment. She brings enthusiasm, determination, and encouragement into every class, helping students feel empowered to express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy the process of learning and growing as dancers.
With a naturally outgoing and uplifting personality, she inspires students to work hard while maintaining a joyful and supportive atmosphere. Her love for performance, creativity, and new experiences allows her to connect with dancers in a meaningful way, encouraging them to stay confident, motivated, and passionate both on and off the stage.

Corry Lunny

Maddy Martin

Maddy brings a lifelong passion for dance and a strong commitment to education to the Nancy Chippendales Dance Studios faculty. Originally from South Beach, New York, she began dancing at just two years old and has continued to cultivate her love of the art form throughout her life. After joining the Chipps family this past season, Maddy quickly became a valued member of our teaching staff. She recently earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Criminal Justice from Merrimack College, where she was also a dedicated member of the Merrimack College Dance Team for four years. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2028.
In addition to her academic achievements, Maddy remains actively involved in the dance community and will be competing this season with American Tap Company in the Adult Division. Maddy is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers and strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can grow in both confidence and technique.

Molly Diodati
Teacher
A calm and dedicated dance educator with a strong passion for tap and helping students grow through patience, consistency, and hard work. She creates a supportive and focused classroom environment where dancers feel encouraged to learn at their own pace while building confidence, discipline, and strong technical foundations.
With a nurturing yet motivating teaching style, she inspires students to stay committed to their goals and enjoy the journey of dance. Her grounded personality, creativity, and appreciation for meaningful experiences allow her to bring warmth, encouragement, and positivity into every class she teaches.

Ainsley Corriveau
Teacher
Ainsley began her dance journey at Chipps in 2003 and graduated in 2021 after spending 12 years on the competition team. During her time at the studio, she had the honor to attend the IDO World Tap Championships in 2013, becoming a 2x World Tap Champion.
She went on to attend Fairfield University, where she was actively involved in both the Fairfield University Dance Ensemble (FUDE) and the competitive dance team, Fairfield Dance Fusion (FDF). In 2025, she graduated with degrees in Marketing and Management and has since pursued a career in marketing in the Boston area. Ainsley is excited to return to Chipps as a choreographer, where she looks forward to sharing her passion for dance and inspiring the next generation of performers!

Julie DeGrandpre
Teacher
A dedicated and supportive dance educator with a strong passion for jazz and helping students grow with confidence both in and out of the studio. With a steady and encouraging presence, she values hard work, self-expression, and creating a positive environment where dancers feel comfortable, motivated, and inspired to be themselves.
Her warm and down-to-earth teaching style encourages students to trust the process, embrace challenges, and enjoy every moment of their dance journey. Through her passion for dance, creativity, and personal growth, she helps dancers build confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for performing.

Shannon Rivera

Shannon is a highly trained dance educator with experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and theater dance. Her training includes Broadway Dance Academy, Debbie Allen’s Dance Academy in Los Angeles, the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, and Broadway Dance Center.
She has performed at International Dance Day in Los Angeles and at the prestigious Alvin Ailey theater with the Joffrey Ballet School. Certified through the Dance Teachers Club of Boston, Shannon brings strong technique, artistry, and emotion to her classes at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios.

Jillian Mclaughlin
Teacher
Jillian Maclaughlin (she/her) is a Dance Professional originating from the Seacoast of New Hampshire. Having danced since she was 3 years old, Jillian sees the pursuit of movement to be as crucial as breathing. She holds her BFA (Summa Cum Laude) in Dance and Performance Studies from Roger Williams University. At RWU she studied ballet, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, movement theatre, choreography, pedagogy, kinesiology and pantomime.
Since graduating in 2020, Jillian has worked as a dancer and collaborator for numerous choreographers including Natalie Johnson, Lorraine Chapman, Eliza Malicki, Karen Bray and Lynn Modell. Jillian founded Rose Woods Dance Collaborative in 2020, a dance theatre company with its foundations in Commedia dell'arte and contemporary dance. RWDC has performed at the Piano Craft Gallery, 10 Tiny Dances, Motion State Arts, Cabaret Jete, Maine Jewish Museum, Human Movement Lab, Somerville Artbeat, Berklee College of Music, Salem Arts Festival and Harvard University. Most notably, RWDC has had the pleasure of being Artists in Residence for Human Movement Lab, Roger Williams University, Salem State University and Harvard University. As an educator, Jillian is dedicated to growing a classroom community driven by rigorous hard work, athletic longevity and whole-hearted care for the individual student. Jillian understands firsthand that dance and the arts are a crucial place for young people to find and express themselves. In the classroom, she aims for students to feel heard, seen and valued as both growing artists and individuals. Students are encouraged to be inquisitive, challenge their limits, take up space, encourage each other and, most importantly, to be their authentic selves.

Kammie Crum
Teacher
Kammie Crum is a performer and choreographer from NYC. She was a member of the Original Broadway Cast of The Music Man starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster and is a two-time World Champion at the IDO World Championships.
She has been the Associate Director/Choreographer on numerous productions as well as choreographing for the American Dance Company. She has also performed at regional theaters across the country, most notably she was a part of a production of Hello, Dolly! at Carnegie Hall.

Alyssa Vacca
Teacher
Alyssa Wilusz graduated from Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BA in Arts Administration. Her passion for dance began at a young age, leading her to train extensively in a wide range of styles. During high school, she moved to New York City to further her training as a Contemporary/Jazz Trainee at Joffrey Ballet School.
Alyssa has expanded her artistic and administrative experience through internships with Koresh Dance School in Philadelphia and Urbanity Dance in Boston. She has choreographed work for the Boston Community Dance Project and has performed with Gaspard & Dancers. She was also a dancer in the reconstruction of Trois Morceaux by Anna Sokolow, a historically significant work that is preserved in the Library of Congress. Currently, Alyssa is an ensemble member with Pantos Project Dance and has been teaching dance for six years, sharing her passion for movement, artistry, and performance with dancers of all ages and experience levels.

Brandi Greenwood
Enrollment and Operations Coordinator
Brandi Greenwood plays a key role in creating a seamless experience for students and families from their first inquiry through each stage of their dance journey. She oversees enrollment processes, supports daily studio operations, and works closely with families to ensure they feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the studio community. A proud 2001 graduate of Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios, Brandi brings a unique perspective to her role, having experienced firsthand the positive impact the studio has on young dancers.
Her lifelong connection to the studio fuels her passion for helping the next generation of students grow in confidence, creativity, and a love of dance. Known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service, Brandi is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with families and supporting the studio’s tradition of excellence. She is honored to serve the community that helped shape her own dance journey and to contribute to an environment where every dancer can thrive.

Marybeth O'Keefe
Administrative Coordinator
Marybeth O’Keefe has been a valued member of the Nancy Chippendales Dance Studios team since 2020. As the Administrative Coordinator for our Newburyport and North Andover locations, she is often the first friendly face families see and serves as a vital resource for hundreds of dancers and parents each week.
In addition to her role at CHIPPS, Marybeth is a dedicated preschool teacher at Immaculate Conception School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from Assumption College and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UMass Boston. Her extensive experience in both education and administration allows her to bring exceptional organization, compassion, and care to everything she does. Marybeth’s connection to the studio extends beyond her professional role. She is also a proud dance mom to her daughter, Millie, a member of the CHIPPS Competition Team and a 2025 World Tap Champion. Her firsthand experience as both a parent and educator gives her a unique perspective and deep appreciation for the positive impact dance has on young people. Whether supporting families behind the scenes or cheering on dancers from the audience, Marybeth is an integral part of the CHIPPS community and its continued success.

Emily Gorski
Teacher
Emily Gorski brings a passion for both education and dance to the Nancy Chippendales Dance Studios faculty. She began her dance training at the age of six and continued dancing through her early teen years, developing a strong appreciation for the discipline, creativity, and confidence that dance instills in young performers.
A graduate of Haverhill High School, Emily went on to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State University in 2008. She has dedicated the past 14 years to shaping young minds as a kindergarten teacher, bringing patience, encouragement, and a nurturing approach to everything she does. Emily’s love of dance has come full circle through her daughter, Ava, a member of the Nancy Chippendales competition team and the 2025 World Tap Champion. As both an educator and dance parent, Emily understands the profound impact that dance can have on a child’s growth, confidence, and character. She is excited to share her experience and enthusiasm with the next generation of dancers while helping students build skills, friendships, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.

Katie Gabriel
Assistant Costume Coordinator, Front Desk Staff and Acro Coach
Katie Gabriel has been a valued member of the CHIPPS community since 2016. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of New Hampshire and went on to teach both First Grade and Kindergarten, bringing her passion for working with children into every role she takes on. Katie joined the Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios team in 2022 and currently serves as Assistant Costume Coordinator, Front Desk Team Member, and Acro Coach.
Katie is a valued member of the CHIPPS team, supporting students, families, and staff through her work at the front desk, costume organization, and acro instruction. She is dedicated to helping every dancer have a positive and rewarding experience. As a Certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor, Katie provides safe, progressive, and age-appropriate acro training. Her background in education and passion for working with children help create a supportive environment where dancers build strength, confidence, flexibility, and technique. Katie is also a proud CHIPPS parent, with three daughters who have grown up at Nancy Chippendale’s Dance Studios and are active members of the competition team. Her firsthand connection to the studio community, combined with her enthusiasm for dance education, makes her an important part of the NCDS family.
